East Asian Shores: Asian American Artists
Look closely at the traditional Asian symbolism in scrolls, teapots,
and kimonos. You will see concepts and imagery that belie geographical
beginnings and speak of more universal ideas of beauty and humanity.
Bridging traditions and influences, cultural heritage influences the
choice of imagery, medium, and technique.
