Students will appropriate a work of art and make it their own by means of creative interpretation and personal intervention. Conceptual aspects of a work of art such as narrative and content will be discussed in class. Students work primarily with oil but also with acrylics. With an increased awareness of the importance of the past, the young artist is able to re-define his own time in relation to history. Some previous drawing and painting training recommended.
